Emmaus House Atlanta has upcoming holiday events, listed here in their holiday guide. Here’s a breakdown of the events and ways you can donate or attend:

  • Grandparents Party: Thursday, December 4th, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Emmaus House is accepting donations, including gift cards, pre-made gift baskets, and several other items, for grandparents raising their grandchildren. Gifts will be distributed to families at the Christmas Festival on Saturday, December 20, 2025.
  • Children’s Christmas Festival: Saturday, December 20th, from 9 AM to 12 PM. Gift Delivery: Thursday, November 21st – Thursday, December 18th from 10 AM to 4 PM.  Emmaus House is requesting wrapping paper, gift bags, bows, and tape to complete the gifts before they’re distributed. 

The Empty Stocking Fund is hosting their annual toy and gift drive, Santa’s Village, located at 693 Humphries St. SW, Atlanta, GA 30310. Parents or legal guardians of metro Atlanta area children who are receiving any form of public assistance are able to receive free holiday gifts for their children. Hands on Atlanta has a list of several local Atlanta community events that will be hosted this year, including the Helping Hands Holiday Dinner, hosted on Saturday,  December 18, 2025. Another great event that will benefit several families is the StreetWise Christmas Event and Mobile Food Pantry event, which will also be held on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2025, where families can choose a gift and take home a home-cooked meal.

St. Vincent de Paul Georgia has a Motel to Home program, a program created out of necessity in Norcross. This program provides resources for families moving from extended-stay motels into stable, affordable housing. This holiday assistance program helps with move-in costs, up to $2000, once housing has been found.
