At the supple age of five-years old, our Atlanta-born native fell in love with the art of sketching after watching her older brother create beautiful sketches of his own. Now, at only 30-years old, Jones has posted her artwork all over social media and plans to showcase them in a gallery exhibit one day.

At the moment, however, she's focused on paying the bills and taking care of her teenage son as a single mom. Saving up has been difficult ever since she dropped out of college after her father passed away.

She's grateful to have found accommodation at Economy Hotel Atlanta, which allows her to save up for her own home. "I've been to a few hotels in Atlanta, most of them are not safe and more expensive," said Jones.

Economy Hotel General Manager Marvin Morris often finds himself inspired by Jones' . "She always shares how, by staying with us, she is able to save up for her other goals," explains Morris. "It's great to know that by providing her with affordable housing, she has been able to achieve some of the things that she's working on."

Jones believes the secret to her lambent outlook is in prayer. "It helps me stay physically and mentally strong, and helps me look at everything in a positive way," said Jones. "Things may be a struggle, but there's always a light."
